  5. Remove steak from grill and let rest about 5 minutes before slicing and serving.

Tip: Take it to the smoky flavor level by trying to grill the steak over a bed of wood chips that have been soaked in water.

Grilling Tips to Take Your Game to the Next Level

Now that you have the recipes, here are some grilling tips to make you a grilling maestro.

*Preheat your grill: It's the secret ingredient to that perfect sear. Let it heat up for about 10-15 minutes before you start grilling.

  • Make use of a meat thermometer: It is the best way to know whether your meat is perfectly cooked or not.
  • Do not overcook the meat: You don't want your meat to be dry and tough, do you? So, make sure you check the internal temperature to avoid such an outcome.
  • Let the meat rest: When you take it off of the grill, let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes. This will allow redistribution of the juices throughout the meat, making it even more tender and full of flavor.
  • Clean your grill: This is important for both hygiene and flavor. After you finish grilling, use a grill brush to clean the grates.
