  • 1 tb nut butter- peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter-yum
  • 1/2 avocado-for creaminess and healthy fats. Don't skip this - it makes ALL the difference
  • 1/2 teaspoon chia seeds-for added nutrition and a bit of thickness; optional, but highly recommended
  • Squeeze of lime or lemon-just a little zing!

Pro-tip: Measure everything out in advance. It makes blending so much easier-especially on those busy mornings.

This is where the magic happens. Seriously, this process is super easy. Just throw all the ingredients into your blender-I use a pretty normal one-nothing fancy required! Make sure everything is well combined. If it's too thick, add a little more liquid. If it's too thin, add some more frozen fruit or ice.

Blend until smooth. It should be as thick as a milkshake. Taste it! Want it sweeter? Add a bit more banana or berries. Want more oomph? Add a bit more lime or lemon.
