I'm just a normal, regular person who has always had a hard time being healthy—especially when life decides to throw you curveballs, and boy, does life love throwing curveballs! I was constantly battling colds a couple of years ago, and just completely drained all the time. Doctors' appointments, endless tests.it was exhausting. Then a friend, a super health-conscious hiker—go figure!—told me to try this daily immune-boosting smoothie. It wasn't a panacea or anything, but it really made a huge difference in my energy and cut the number of times I was sick by about half. This is no ordinary smoothie recipe; it's a testimony to the power of simple, healthy choices and a delicious way to help your body fight off those pesky winter bugs. So grab your blender, let's dive in!

This recipe is designed to be flexible and delicious. Feel free to swap in fruits you like, as long as you keep the core ingredients.
• 1 cup Frozen Berries (mixed berries are great!): Packed with antioxidants to fight inflammation. I usually just grab a bag of organic mixed berries from my local farmer's market. Occasionally, I even use frozen leftover berries from my own summer harvests.if I'm organized enough to do so, that is! • 1/2 cup Spinach: Packed with vitamins and minerals, don't be stingy with the spinach! You can barely taste it, but it does the trick! • 1/2 cup Orange Juice: Vitamin C, the old immune-booster! Freshly squeezed is best, but store-bought works in a pinch.
