📖 Instructions

  1. First, gather your ingredients! You'll need the oranges, milk, and ice. Make sure your oranges are nice and ripe for the best flavor. I usually give them a little squeeze test to make sure they're juicy!
  2. Next, wash the oranges thoroughly. Then, juice them. You can use a manual juicer, or if you're feeling lazy like me, you can just cut them up into small pieces, and add it to the blender. Less work, same result!
  3. Now for the fun part! Add the freshly squeezed orange juice (or the cut orange pieces), the milk, and the ice cubes into your blender. Make sure to add enough ice for a nice icy-cold smoothie, and then add milk to reach your desired consistency. Start with less and add more as needed.
  4. Secure the blender lid tightly, and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. If you have added ice, It might take a little longer to get the perfect texture. Don't worry, it'll be worth it!
  5. Once it's nicely blended, pour your delicious orange smoothie into a tall glass. You can garnish it with an orange slice, a sprig of mint, or even a few frozen orange slices for extra flair and visual appeal.
  6. That's it! Sit back, relax, and enjoy your homemade orange smoothie! It's the perfect pick-me-up for a sunny morning, a refreshing midday snack, or even a post-workout treat. Trust me. I know because I've tried it all!

📝 Notes

  • For a sweeter smoothie, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup.
  • If you like a thicker smoothie, use less milk or add more ice.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of milk! Almond milk is especially delicious!
