  2. Pat those chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. This helps them brown beautifully in the skillet—nobody wants a soggy chicken experience. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper—don't be shy!
  3. Heat a tablespoon or two of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once it's shimmery, add your chicken breasts. Sear them for about 3-4 minutes per side, until they're nicely browned. This is the delicious part that makes this dish look and taste great!
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside. We’re not done with it yet, I promise!
  5. Now for the fun part: the sauce! Add the chopped onion and garlic to the same skillet. Cook until softened, around 3-5 minutes. Stir often, and don't let them burn—nobody likes burnt garlic!
  6. Stir in the sun-dried tomatoes, white wine, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan—that's where the flavor is! Let the sauce simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until it slightly thickens.
  7. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet. Gently spoon the sauce over them, ensuring they're fully coated. If you like, cover the skillet and simmer for another 5-7 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through. Or you can skip this step and just pour sauce over the chicken
  8. Optional: If you'd like to bake your chicken for extra golden-brown goodness, transfer the skillet (or the chicken and sauce in an oven-safe dish) to the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly. You know what you prefer, do it your own way!
  9. Remove from heat, and stir in the grated parmesan cheese. Give it a good stir so it melts into the creamy sauce. This is where the dish gets extra flavorful and richer!
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley or basil (if you're feeling fancy!). Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes—your choice! Enjoy your delicious Creamy Tuscan Chicken!
