I remember when I first heard about hemp seeds. I was at a farmer's market, chatting with a vendor, when they mentioned adding hemp seeds to their morning smoothies. I was skeptical, honestly. Hemp? Wasn't that...something else? But the vendor raved about their nutritional benefits and how they made her feel, full of energy and ready to tackle the day. Intrigued, I bought a bag and started experimenting. Now, I'm hooked! I've been adding them to everything from yogurt to salads, and of course, this amazing hemp seed bowl.

📖 Instructions
Gather your ingredients: hemp seeds, your favorite fruits (berries, banana, apple slices), nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans), seeds (chia, flax), and your choice of liquid (almond milk, yogurt, or even water if you are daring!).
Measure the hemp seeds: Place 2-3 tablespoons of hemp seeds into your bowl. Don't be shy with them; they're the star of the show! I sometimes add a little more, because I love the flavor, but that depends on you.
Add your liquid base: Pour in about 1/2 cup of almond milk (or your chosen liquid). You want just enough to moisten the hemp seeds and other ingredients without making it soupy. Add more if needed until you reach your desired consistency. It all depends on you! My yogurt I's usually a little thicker.
Chop your fruit: Slice or dice your fruits into bite-sized pieces. I adore berries because they're so easy, but a sliced banana or diced apple works great too. A mix is always nice!
Add the fruit: Sprinkle the fruit over the hemp seeds. Get creative with the arrangement! A little bit of visual appeal can make the bowl even more enticing. Remember, we eat with our eyes first! Try using a spiral pattern with the berries.
Sprinkle on the nuts and seeds: Add a generous sprinkle of your favorite nuts and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, pecans, chia seeds, and flax seeds are all excellent choices. This is where you get that satisfying crunch and extra nutrition. Make sure you roughly chop the nuts with a knife before adding them to the bowl.
Add a touch of sweetness (optional): If you want a sweeter bowl, drizzle a little maple syrup, honey, or agave nectar over the top. A pinch of cinnamon or a dash of vanilla extract can also add a nice touch. This is completely up to you, I don't usually bother!
Stir it all together: Gently stir everything together until well combined. Make sure the hemp seeds are evenly distributed and the fruits and nuts are nicely incorporated.
Let it sit (optional): For a softer texture, let the bowl sit for a few minutes to allow the hemp seeds to absorb the liquid and plump up. I like to give it about 5 minutes. It's like making overnight oats, but much faster!
Enjoy immediately: Grab a spoon and dig in! Savor the combination of flavors and textures. This bowl is best enjoyed fresh. I sometimes save leftovers for later, but they are never quite as good.
Adjust to your liking: After your first bite, feel free to add more of any ingredient to suit your taste. More fruit? More nuts? Go for it! This is your bowl, so make it your own. Remember that not all fruit is created equal, so experiment with different types.
Clean Up: Don't be like me and leave everything for later. I promise you'll feel better and have much more time if you clean up as you go. At least take a few seconds to rinse your utensils and bowl when your done so that it doesn't dry on there!
