This Figgy Delight Fruit Platter is a gorgeous and healthy treat, perfect for any occasion. It's unbelievably easy to make, but looks like something you'd find at a fancy restaurant. I created this recipe for a friend's birthday party and it was such a hit, everyone raved about it. Trust me, your family and friends will love it too!

The star of the show, of course, are the figs. Their delicate sweetness adds a unique dimension to the platter. And figs are incredibly versatile – pair well with almost any fruit. This makes it super easy to customize to your preferences! I've even had people add a little crumbled cheese, but I prefer it without!

📖 Instructions

  1. First, gather all your ingredients. Make sure your figs are ripe but not overly soft. If they are a little hard, you can let them sit out at room temperature for a bit to soften them up. Wash all the fruits thoroughly.
  2. Next, let's prep the figs. If you're using fresh figs, gently wash them and pat them dry. If you're using dried figs, quickly rinse them under cold water to remove any dust.
  3. Now, it's time to prepare all the other fruits. Cut the apples, pears, and oranges into bite-sized pieces. If using grapes or berries, simply wash them and leave them whole. Get creative with how you cut the fruit – cubes, slices, wedges; it's up to you!
  4. Arrange the fruit on your serving platter. Start with a base layer of larger fruits like apples or pears. Then add the figs and the other fruits in a visually appealing way. Think color contrast and variety of shapes and sizes.
  5. For that final touch, consider garnishing your platter with a sprinkle of fresh mint leaves or a few sprigs of rosemary. Add a small bowl of honey for dipping, if desired. And there you have it – your stunning Figgy Delight Fruit Platter!
  6. Once it's all ready, admire your work! It's seriously impressive, even if I do say so myself. This is a perfect platter to impress guests and showcase the simple beauty of fresh fruits. Enjoy!
