Hey there, smoothie lovers! Let’s be honest, sometimes you just crave something simple, refreshing, and bursting with flavor. And that’s exactly why I’m sharing this amazing strawberry kiwi smoothie recipe with you today. This recipe is super easy, takes just minutes to make, and is packed with vitamins and antioxidants. It’s the perfect way to start your day, refuel after a workout, or simply treat yourself to a delicious and healthy snack. I even made one for my neighbour, Mrs. Gable, who struggles with arthritis and is always complaining about back aches. She absolutely loved it!

This particular smoothie is extra special to me because it reminds me of a time when I was in Hawaii. The vibrant colors and fruity flavors instantly transport me back to those warm, sunny days spent sipping smoothies on the beach. Okay maybe I am exaggerating slightly; I was actually at a very crowded airport, but the smoothie was really good!

📖 Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and equipment. Make sure your fruits are washed and ready to go.
  2. Add the frozen strawberries (about 1 cup for a single serving, adjust for more servings), kiwi chunks (half a kiwi, adjust for more servings), and yogurt (about 1/2 cup for a single serving, adjust for more servings) to your blender.
  3. Pour in some liquid. I usually use about 1/2 cup of milk (dairy or non-dairy) per serving, but adjust to your preferred thickness. A little less liquid will make a thicker smoothie, while a little more makes it thinner.
  4. Add your sweetener. I like to use about 1 tablespoon of honey or maple syrup per serving but it really depends on how sweet you like your smoothies! Start with less and add more if needed.
  5. Blend! Blend everything until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender a couple of times to make sure everything is fully incorporated.
  6. Taste and adjust. If it’s not sweet enough, add more honey or maple syrup. If it’s too thick, add a little more milk. If it’s too thin, add a couple of ice cubes and blend again.
  7. Strain (optional). If you like a super smooth smoothie without any pulp, strain the smoothie through a fine-mesh strainer.
  8. Pour into a glass, add some garnishes, if desired (like fresh strawberries and kiwi slices!), and enjoy your refreshing strawberry kiwi smoothie! This is the tastiest drink you will ever have! I'm telling you!

📝 Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to your liking. Add more fruit for a thicker smoothie, and more milk for a thinner one. Feel free to experiment with other frozen fruits!
